From time immemorial man has discovered and has advanced in almost all kids of sciences. He has invented newer and most effective things to bring comfort to mankind. With all these advancements is man really happy? Does he feel he is satisfied this very moment? Many mystic and saints do incarnate on earth to predict the future and to assure the people what the future has in store for them. Each and every tradition in this world revolves around some aesthetic beliefs and respects these holy people whose prophecies predict the future. Although cultures, traditions and beliefs might change one thing still remains unchanged. That is the quest to know about the future.

Many people just predict the future out of intuition. They might not even know that they are predicting the future. They perform this when possessed by higher powers or omens. In every tradition such people exist and many people folk in search of these possessed people who can forecast or predict their future.

Even renowned astrologers use intuition as their guiding force while predicting the future. The atmosphere, sounds, people reactions like sneezing and speech is all considered to convey something to these men who then use them to predict the future. These prophecies are very much valued as they are believed to be god sent.

The famous prophet Nostradamus wrote in his book ‘the prophecies’ about the predictions of the future. He has written all these in a mystical or secretive language and only a few can understand the real meaning. Positive prediction can inspire the people to lead better lives or to focus towards a brighter future. But negative prediction of the future might give a negative attitude to people who might refuse or ignore normal human functioning fearing the future.
